Strange one this, all the images of my stored and in use avatars, are slowly changing.

The url of the image has stayed the same but bears no relation to the image that has replaced it.
example: avatarurl = me.gif which shows a picture of 'me'. The image of 'me' has been replaced somehow, by what looks like an advert. There is no url linked to the new image.

I have no idea as to what's happened or how to contacin it.

Any help more than welcome.

Couple questions:

- Do you allow people to upload their own Avatars?
- If so, do they get uploaded to the same directory as the regular avatars?
- Also, did you update the MOD to filter Null characters?
- Have you checked your server logs to see if they were uploaded via FTP or some other means (i.e. the server and/or your account was compromised and not Snitz)

I would immediately search for people who have either been mysteriously "upgraded" to Admin, or any Admin accounts that have suddenly appeared. If you find any, I'd demote and lock them.

Lastly, not being 100% familiar with the MOD in question, when someone uploads an avatar with the same name as an existing one, is it coded to automatically overwrite the existing one?

I'm sure there's some more that can help, but this is what I've got first thing in the morning....
