I'm not familiar with the ActiveUser's MOD, but you may want to double-check the code changes... I bet its counting everyone twice.

check over the code that u added and make sure they are in the correct places...i have done this before and it was just a bad install

It might be that you were logged on as admin and your internet connection reset and you have a new IP address. The first will stay reading online despite logging out. I had that as I have two users admin and administrator that use the same IP connection and when one was logged on, I reset the IP address (reboot broadband connection) and they online status remained online, despite pressing log out. You may want to look at the ACTIVE USERS TABLE and see if there is a duplication of the admin MEMBER_ID. I got round this by deleting the active users records from the table
