I've searched, and found something relating to bulk moving topics, but I didn't understand it really (I don't even know what SQL means...) and I'm not sure that the info is the same as I need (topic: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=59975) so I need to ask...

If I want to close a couple of the forums on my site, and merge them with another forum, can I do this without moving each topic individually, and is there a way of choosing a number of topics from one forum and moving them altogether?

For example, let's say I have a website called Colours, and the website is basically a Snitz forum, with several individual forums on it. If forum was called 'Blue, Red & Purple', and I decided that it wasn't being used enough so wanted to get rid of Blue altogether, and merge Red & Purple with another forum, called 'Yellow', is there a way I could go through the Blue, Red & Purple forum, picking out the posts relating to Red & Purple and somehow marking them to move to Yellow all in one go, instead of moving each post individually and having to input my password every time? I wasn't sure if there was some way of doing this via the database...?

Just read this back and I can see that it could be as clear as mud, but hopefully someone will get what I mean and be able to help

Ah, now I just looked at another topic: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=62294 and this seems to be the same question I have, but I don't understand the answers, and the link for the other topic leads me to the one I first quoted, so I'm still a bit lost.

I have the latest Snitz version (3.4.06).

Thanks in advance!

Charly

No current way to do it from a "user interface". Only someone working from the DB side of things could do it.
