I have had the antispam mod for a while now and it works ok. The problem I had was prospective new members filled the form in and when they came to the antispam numbers they were not seeing all 6 and therefore sent an email or refreshed the page and had to fill the form in all over again. I thought it might be a good Idea to put the antispam first on the registration page so that if the 6 numbers didnt show then a page refresh would show all 6 and the form then has to be filled out only once.
I have shifted the antispam to the top of the form and changed the wording slightly. The line where the digits are displayed I would like to make a single column on that table row instead of the 2 columns it is now and also the same where the numbers are entered into the box. (I have the box way over to the right and cant get it back)
I checked your registration page and it appears some of the number image files are not showing. Refreshing the page several times, I managed to get a set of six numbers to show. Have you got all the image files uploaded into the ../image directory? It looks as if your 9.gif and 0.gif are not displaying
Yes I double checked before posting and they are all there. I did ask some of the forum members to try and 50% of the time all 6 show the other 50% its normally 5 showing hence why I have moved the MOD to the start of the registration form.
The numbers 0 and 9 never appear. Just for the heck of it, I saw a slight space where a number should have gone and pretended it would have been a 9 and it worked. (It was the only field I filled in and when I hit submit, in the list of errors, the anti-spam code was not one of them).
I would recheck those two numbers. Perhaps you should upload the numbers again and allow them to be overwritten. Maybe the 0 and 9 became corrupted somehow.
Thanks for that..I have re-uploaded the numbers and all appears to be well. I have refreshed the page so many times now and all 6 are there every time although I'm still yet to see a #9 in the combination.
