I am having trouble deleting the testing forum forum/category or whatever it is. I only want one forum, yet the screens seem to allow several underneath the snitz forums 2000 level. There is no list of available colours so I don't what to type in. There is a members pending section yet I cannot see where to make members pend. I wold like to restrict members without having them register themselves, but there is no member creation facility. I can delete posts under a topic but not the topic. The strConnString setting for virtual path do not recognise the top level and require the web name to be typed in. (Using Frontpage to edit and generate the website). Which is posted to an intranet server and then also to an external webserver.
Thanks for this. I have sorted it out now. I suppose this is partly the consequence of having to teach yourself how a piece of software works. It didn't appear intuitive at first, and didn't seem to work, but I have managed it. It seems to leave the first one alone, until another category/forum has been created and then it can be deleted. No problem really just understanding what it is doing.
