When my forum is upgraded to 3.4.06 I will not be using the Poll Mod that was installed in 3.4.04 (I have another polling software that I wish to use.)
Two questions come up. 1) What happens to the existing polls? They won't continue to show the poll results will they?
2) How do I remove the poll mod from the mysql database?
With the poll mod came a file named dbs_poll_uninstall.asp You should run that from the Admin Options. I would assume that this would remove all database entries related to the poll mod itself.
Out of curiousity, what poll software are you planning on using? You would then need to undo any changes made to all of the files that were modified when initially installing the poll mod.

Thank you. The dbs_poll_uninstall.asp file rings a bell. I put together the "5-in-1 Snitz Expansion Pack" (available on Snitzbitz) and will be using that to do a simple 3.4.04 to 3.4.06 upgrade.
The Expansion Pack doesn't contain Davio's "Poll Mod" - which will leave loose ends in the database. It looks like I should run the dbs_poll_uninstall file first.
