Hi,

I've just been informed that we will be converting all of our SQL servers from 2000 to 2005. Will this cause a problem with our Snitz Version 3.4.06 forums we already have running under SQL 2000? Thank you!

I doubt it - SQL 2K5 is very backward-compatible and is a 2-year-old product now

However, it does depend on who sets up the db - they should use the same collation etc settings as your current ones - best bet is to make a 'migration plan' - one server goes to 2005, you test the migration of a single test forum (and learn from mistakes), then a single live forum (and keep it live for a week with real users), then finally do the rest. Any boss you have will be thrilled to hear you're migrating in a controlled and responsible manner!
