Hi xcx, you're not starting from a good place if you don't understand about servers and programmes, so I'll try to fill you in, but be aware you may need to do some learning on your own too
Snitz Firums are computer code written in a language called ASP. In order to use the forums, you must have a computer that can run the code. If you want the forum to be visible on the internet, you need a server on the internet that can run ASP code - these are the servers in Podge's link, if you scroll down you'll see all the free ones.
Sign up for an account with a server, then upload (this means copy using whatever tools your host [this is the company letting you use their server] give you) the snitz forum code and follow ALL the steps in the FAQ and the documentation that comes with the code. If you follow them exactly, you'll either have a forum set up online, or if you hit a problem, somebody will probably help if you post here about it (assuming you followed the instructions fully!)
hope this helps |

Ahhh - now you want a domain name like 'www.xcx-website.com' - you need a 'domain registrar', and it'll cost you money. The registrar you choose will tell you how to forward the website, but you ain't going to get a domain for free, so may just want to stick with the one you've been given! Your host may sell you a domain, look around on their website |
