I recently downloaded Email Random Password for version 3.3.x and it fried my forum. Can someone tell me why or if there is a version that will work with Snitz 3.4.x?

This from my web guru who tried to install these files.

I installed both apps. I then revised the code in the config.asp and default.asp files as instructed. To put it mildly it didn’t like the code I inserted. So…I restore the files from backup.

If you look in the folder online, I extracted the files to the server. If you follow the instructions, it tells you to copy the files over the top of the original files. I did this by moving and overwriting the original files. Then update the code.

It is entirely possible the code needs to be inserted in a different location. The author may have wrote the code before a Snitz update. Hence it may need to be inserted on a different line. Just a guess.

Pretty obvious that a Snitz Forum 3.3.x version mod won't be working well with a Snitz Forum 3.4.x.
So unless you know how to code, wouldn't suggest installing that mod on the 3.4 version forum.
Maybe someone will be able to update it for you, to work with a 3.4 version.
