What happens when you insert it in your forum?

The page you linked to at my test forum does not give me any suggestions for the spelling error. The instructions in the googie.asp is something the script calls for when it is inserted in your forum. By itself, it doesn't really function properly.

Also, did you try mine using IE7?

Did you keep all of the files needed for the mod in the googiespell folder? Also, is it inside of your forum folder?

If you have IE7 please let me know if it works for you or not.

Works like a charm for me, and on my forum. I've put out a request for some of my users to run it through for us, if you want to follow it.....

Thanks everyone!

I'm not sure why it won't work for you. I'm sorry.

You could try to download the newest version. It includes an updated AJS.js file and an updated googiespell.js file.

I found this line in your post.asp file:
<a href="http://orangoo.com/labs/spellchecker/">1</a>
That should not be there. Try removing it and see if that fixes it.

What if you put the full paths instead of the relative paths in the inc_googie.asp file? Instead of:
<script type="text/javascript" src="./googiespell/AJS.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="./googiespell/googiespell.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="./googiespell/cookiesupport.js"></script>
<link href="./googiespell/googiespell.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
Try:

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.gamingcrypt.co.uk/wwwroot/googiespell/AJS.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.gamingcrypt.co.uk/wwwroot/googiespell/googiespell.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.gamingcrypt.co.uk/wwwroot/googiespell/cookiesupport.js"></script>
<link href="http://www.gamingcrypt.co.uk/wwwroot/googiespell/googiespell.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

Perhaps it's your host's firewall? It's possible your hosting configurations firewall is blocking outgoing connections which could be blocking google.com.
