Hi

My client is reporting problems with the snitz forum that i set up for their website.

The version of snitz on the site is 3.4.05

Although its working fine with the account i have created, My client is reporting that as soon as she is logged in, the system logs her out again. She had been using it fine for months until now.

She also reports that a collegue of hers has the same problem.

Has anybody got any ideas?

The forum can be found at :

http://www.thehairnailandbeautytrail.com/forum/

i have created a login with access details of :

username : snitz
password : qwerty

Many thanks
Dan

No problems here, either; more than likely their machines are not allowing the forum to create a cookie. Get them to check the security settings in their browsers.

Yeah i hadnt thought of that, thanks i will try and find out.

My client has said that it works fine with Internet Explorer but runs into logging out problems when using AOL browser - but she has used it on AOL before - perhaps AOL have updated their software and something new is preventing cookie creation?

Search for AOL and you'll find that its caused problems innumerable - here and elsewhere. All things being equal, I'd point them to either IE or FireFox (or Opera).

Ive tired pointing them away from AOL in the past - its not hard to minisise it and run IE, but they are awkward and dont listen - i'll have to put my foot down.

Thank you both for your help.

The sad part is that last time I checked AOL was running a "customized" version of IE... and yet they manage to have more problems.

Best of luck.
