It doesn't give me a message at all.
It's more like it doesn't do sh*t but redirect me to http://forum.dierenasiel-leiestreek.be/default.asp
without processing the account-data i've put in to login.

My webhosting company is telling me that i should reinstall the forum and use http://forum.dierenasiel-leiestreek.be as HOME URL.
But for all I know, this can't be set during install but only after. And when i change these values in the 'admin option' no matter how I change it, the problem persists.

No problem for your code error, I spotted it before copying it.

Well, as I wrote, I'm inclined to think this has indeed to do with the way your url is being redirected. I thought it could be overcome, but it seems it cannot...

I get the login successful message, but once the redirect occurs I'm not (I created the 'test' account).

Thx for trying.
I will ask my webhosting company to solve this issue.
As they seem to think that it can be fixed easily by installing the forum correctly. (which i don't think).

They don't allow me to specify how to create the subdomains.
All I can do is create one via their management console.

No problem.
I will keep you posted if it gets solved.
Cuz who says it can be solved.
Maybe they will need to change my subdomain settings,
or switch to another forum who knows.

Our code just does not use anything that could cause this, so I don't think this is a forum specific issue.

I just reinstalled the forum
using http://forum.dierenasiel-leiestreek.be/setup.asp
as i probably had installed it using http://www.dierenasiel-leiestreek.be/subdomein/forum/setup.asp before.

Now my forum is installed and it redirects me to
http://forum.dierenasiel-leiestreek.be

as it should.
So I have good hopes this time.
When the default.asp loads i get this error:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'

Type mismatch: 'chkString'

/subdomein/forum/inc_header.asp, line 40

Perhaps this is easier to fix :p

Are you using an unchanged inc_header.asp?

What line is that? Can you post it here? Have you uploaded inc_func_common.asp to your server?
