Is it possible for anyone to view topics but only registered/logged in users to post new items?

If s, where is this setting.

Also, can I remove the top right hand menu including the logged in/out message/graphic?

Regards
Pete

That's how it works out of the box.

The stuff you want to remove is in inc_header.asp.

Hello! Can anyone tell me how to make a birthdate part of the registration requirement or any of the other fields to appear as a "requirement" of registration?

Thank you in advance & have a nice day!

Have a great day!

Shaggy had posted some code to do this a while back as part of an effort to stop spammers. Also JJenson has put together a MOD that will let you selectively require member details. A quick search should turn up either.

AnonJr thank you for your response. I found the one Shaggy did. I made the changes according to the code he posted and all works fine on version 3.4.06. For anyone else who is looking for this topic and the fix, you can find it here:

I have other questions, but will have to search & post them when I return from the dentist. LOL.

Thank you to all who replied.

Have a great day!
Terry
