Anyone got a link to a decent step by step guide for creating a new database with MySQL Administrator? I tried creating a new schema myself and copied the connection string from an existing site, changing the name of the database accordingly but I get an error informing me that the user has been denied access to the database even though, from what I can see in MySQL Admin, there's no differences in the priveleges assigned to that user for the 2 databases. So I created a new user and made sure it had the same priveleges on the new database as the original user did on the existing database but I'm told that the client does not support the authentication protocol requested by the server and I should consider upgrading the MySQL client despite the fact that there's no such problems with the site I copied the connection string from.
