Hi everyone
i am buildig my first site and want to have a forum on it. By the looks of things this looks a good one. What i need to know is if this is one embedded into my site or linking of to another place. If it is embedded is there any way i can set it up and test it before my site goes live because at the moment i am only working on it offline.
many thanks
KevB

What exactly do you mean by "embedded into" your site? You can add a folder to your site and place the forum files there and then add links pointing to the forum from your site.

You can set it up locally, yes, just follow the instructions on the readme file included in the download or use the link in my signature, below.

Hi Kev,

Like Rui says, snitz forums mean you run the code on your own site, not just linking into someone else's managed service. This means you get total control and frankly awesome free support on this site, and are not limited to the standard offerings of hosted services.

Hopethis helps :)

You need to have it on some site running server software (like IIS). This can be on a local machine you have at your house or up on some server space somewhere else.
