Yes, it does; Active Users is completely different from Active Users Light.

Search is your friend “I was having a mildly paranoid day, mostly due to the fact that the mad priest lady from over the river had taken to nailing weasels to my front door again.” |

Hello. I have this installed on my forum and have a question(s) about it as I am unfamiliar with how it works and what we should look for when using it.
When you cannot see the persons os and it shows unknown. What does that really mean? I'm confused with that as it shows everyone else's os.
While visitors come and go as unknown, are there ip addresses that I should specifically look for to block?

Podge, thank you for your response. I did that this AM. when I noticed a lot of traffic on my site. I took a look and one was an unknown os I clicked on their ip and it was someone from California.
What I thought was interesting is that they were in myfiles.asp for well over an hour. I don't have any files to list. Maybe because the mod is new to me somewhat or something, I just thought it was weird that a user would be there over an hour. And with the recent onslought of hackers it just made me nervous enough to inquire on what to look for with using that mod.
Thanks again :)

Could also just be someone using an OS that Nathan hasn't included in the mod yet, such as Vista.

Shaggy, you know I never thought of that. It makes sense and explains a lot of what I've been experiencing (with vista) and what I've been seeing. Thanks for the info! |
