 Can't change my Admin E Mail address		  New Topic  Topic Locked

I have been trying to change the E mail address for my Admin account to the web site admin address admin@legionreunited.com but when I try it sent me a conformation E Mail with a link, I click the link which took me to a 404 page. I log back into my profile and the E mail address is still yourmail@server.com, when I try to repeat changing the E Mail address it now says

There Was A Problem With Your Details

* E-mail Address already in use, Please Choose Another

I'm running the latest forum, updated tonight.

How can I set my E Mail address to the one needed please ?

The 404 error probably occurred due to a forum URL erroneous value. Check it in Admin Options -> Main Forum Configuration.

Anyway, you can just turn off Email Validation, change the email and then turn it on again.

The usual cause for a a 404 error is an incorrect URL. If you want to post the link you received here and the URL for your forum, we can check.

You should set your forum URL as http://www.legionreunited.com/forum/

Right now the value surely is http://www.legionreunited.com

OK changed that, thanks. Not tried with the E Mail verification option turned on, but I could change it with this off.
