OK - (Blonde you see)
I changed the MS SQL password (from the backend not through the forum) and now the forum doesn't work as it can't access database.

I've tried to change the password back to what the forum knows but I can't. Is there a way to change the password on the forum files so it regains access?

Look in config.asp - you should see the connection string with the username/password the forum is using to connect.

Thanks! That worked.

Here is another Blonde question
I'm upgrading the version of Snitz.
When it says backup is that the entire database sitting on the server or just the forum files that allow access and the mapping to database?

that really depends what version you are upgrading from, it is normally safe to just backup the forum files as updates don't normally involve that much change to the database, but if you are upgrading say from a version prior to 3.4.03 then a backup of the Database would be advisable just in case, not that anything is likely to go wrong, but it is for your own peace of mind that we suggest backing everything up.
