I accidentally deleted an entire forum today while cleaning up after a *#*#)@! spammer.

Went for my backups and realized I only had the last one from 7/13/06 due to a disk failure on my firewire drive last week.

Double #()#*#@!

Ok. Take a deep breath.

Here is what I am wondering...

Is there a way to start with the 7/13 database and then "append" or "merge" the changes made to the current database?

I have never seen such a feature in Access, but I thought I'd ask to see if it was possible.

Thanks for your help.

Yeah, that would be possible, if done with some care. No function to do it from Access, you'd just need to perform some imports from one DB to the other, create some queries ... It's definitely possible, but it's something for people who have some Access experience.

Anybody interested in doing this? I'd be willing to pay a reasonable fee. Email me.
