Initially, everything is running fine. However, i can't get Admin user to log into the admin_home.asp page. No error message, but just stays at the admin_login page. I think it might be due to the problem of session. But what might be the possible reason to cause this suddenly happened problem? Thanks for answering this question? |

I am having the exact same problem. It was working fine but then today, it has stopped. I get as far as the admin_login.asp, enter the admin and password which works fine, but then it tried to redirect to admin_home.asp (as it should) and it just sits there.
The only thing that was changed is I installed a hotfix for IIS (Q277873_W2K_SP2_x86_EN.exe)
Even after installing the patch, I could get into admin_home.asp but just to make sure, I uninstalled the patch and still have the same problem. (HuW's 3.1 R4 release)
I'll let you know if I find an answer to this problem.

I Fixed it. One other thing that changed was that I updated Norton Antivirus 2001. Well, in this update, the added an option that is called Script Blocking. It is enabled by default. I could sometimes get to my admin_home.asp but it would not display the mod addon for Huw's release. It would give me a VBScript error. I disabled the Script Blocking option in Norton 2001 as well as uninstalled some recently added programs, specifically winamp and shoutcast.
I had to reboot for it to fully start working again but now it does. I am pretty sure that it was the Norton Antivirus.
