I am basically trying to implement a very quick solution to integrate a site within a website template using IFRAMES. The website structure can be seen at http://www.bladesbees.co.uk which uses CSS to layout the formatting. (The formum breaks out of this at http://www.bladesbees.co.uk/forum/)
I have tried the site implementation mod but this doesn't seem to do what I want in getting the site to sit in the main content area exactly. I managed to implement the forum into the site using IFRAME with a test page at http://www.1889internet.co.uk/forumtest.htm however although the width of the IFRAME is not a problem, I can't guarantee the length - hence at the moment making it very large.
I have had a look around the web and various Javascript resources manage to do this the best being:
However, this seems to assume that only 1 page is being referenced and I don't know where the script should go if it 'could' be implemented in the Forum.
Any ideas gratefully recieved.
BTW first time I've used SNITZ on a project and am an absolute convert - well done Boys and Girls!
it would help imensely if you either turned off require registration or provided us with a test login while you are testing, that way we can take a look.
It's not the forum thats the problem - thats working fine! What I want to know is can the Forum's height be manipulated using IFRAME with Javascript (or other) which seems to work with other pages but I don't know WHERE to put the script that sends the variable back to the IFRAME.
Like I said from there the forum works fine. The problem is that I don't know how long each page will be and want the IFRAME to expand accordingly - the Iframe is set quite large at the moment). There are various Javascripts out there that do this but default.asp doesn't contain any html to place the script or <body> tag to return the variable. Any idea as to if this can be done or where the script should go would save me what little hair I have left!
