I have installed Snitz on our intranetserver and it seem to function. No error mesages. When I login - either as Admin or common user - it tells me, that Login was successfull. Though in the upper right corner it still says Login and not Logout. Neither can I see the icons (described in other topics) for e.g. Adding a new Forum.

Has anyone an idea?

I don't know - for safety reasons we are not allowed to adjust the safety settings. So it may well be the reason.

Thanks.

Thanks - I get wiser and wiser.

Now I have uploaded the forum to a real web-site. When I get the message:

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'

Operation must use an updateable query.

/forum/inc_functions.asp, line 644

is that because the directory settings is not read/write as described in the Readme.txt?
