You can compare each file between the versions and then add those differences to your forum. Not an easy task.

Anyway, the real important issues are the security fixes. Those you can't do without, but they can be applied one by one.

You can view the changes made to 3.4.06 by checking out our CVS system at sourceforge. http://sf2k.cvs.sourceforge.net/sf2k/v4/v3/

With each file you can compare the differences between the original 3.4.05 and the updated version, all color highlighted.

Thanks people.

I think I may start with your base version again and add the mods :)

No need to start from scratch; simply use the upgrade zip and then reapply the necessary mods to those files - should be an easy enough task if you've kept notes while applying mods.

Question, I went through the files that were changed from version 5, and added all my mod's code (I hope). I will upload the new files to our site early in the morning hoping I don't have many visitors on the board. Should the board be closed when adding the new files? I know I need to run Check Installation but do I need to run Mod setup too? Thank all of you for all the hardwork; it is appreciated.

If you want to close the site, that's up to you. It would keep your visitors out until you get the updates done.

Davio one more question. I did all my updates on ver 5 religiouly did I plug all the holes or do I still need to implement this new version for security reasons? I saw 'New lines of code when adding my mods and in some cases I had to add the mods after the new code. Since our site is dynamic using ASP I was able to determine where the mod's should go but still one never knows for sure. Thank you.

All the security holes found and fixed in 3.4.05 are listed here: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=118

All security holes that we know about are fixed in the latest version.
