Okay... there was a problem with my forum a few days ago and I needed to change all the e-mail settings for everyone's profile to No to stop a spamming incident. Instead of going through and editing each and every member profile, I shut down the forum, downloaded the database, made the edit in Access, saved the database, and uploaded back to the site.
Everything seemed to be working fine, but now I can't activate any newly registered members and they can't activate via the e-mail link. The following error keeps coming up:
************************************************************** Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005' Field 'FORUM_MEMBERS.M_LASTPOSTDATE' cannot be a zero-length string. /digifreq/discuss/register.asp, line 184 **************************************************************
What did I do???
Shouldn't I be able to edit the database manually? Or no?
Thanks for any help! Scott
