Hi all

I am searching for 2 things:
  • The code to change the borders, so that they look ..well embossed must be the proper word. I have seen this on several forums and think it will make a nice addition to mine

Anyone knows how to set this up?

  • I want to have a 'this page has been shown xxxxx times' in the footer. Anyone

Thanks in advance

Q1: The embossing is a 'trick' where you but a border around the td, with different colours.
I've got it on oxle, with the 'ts03h' CSS style.

Q2: If it's regarding the topic, you could try to get the value for TOPICS.T_VIEW_COUNT and show that.
Sounds fairly simple. If you want mail me (marcelg@oxle.com) inc_footers.asp and topic.asp, and I'll do it for you.

Splendid!
I'll mail you the files right away.

Is it hard to implement the CSS-style?

Well, it does require some extensive modding of the source in various files, so I guess yes.

Or you could use the SpeedBall II version of the code, but I don't think its been updated with the last couple of updates. Also, and this is the part that stops most people, you'll have to re-install any MODs you may have added and modify them to use the CSS sheet.

Not the best option, but an option never the less.

There's been a few attempts at a version three, but I don't think any of them have been fully completed...

While SB2 has been updated to v3.4.05, you'll still need to apply the latest security fixes.

And, you'll need to use the SB2 MOD Guide to get any MODs to use the proper styles.
