After installing Office 2000 on our NT4 Server (Only FP extensions were previously installed) get the error message

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver does not support this function

This is on the SELECT in inc_func.asp ChkAccountReg
I have the same problem with other (non snitz) databases.

All ideas gratefully received.

Sounds like office 2000 has updated your MDAC with an older version, download the latest MDAC 2.6 from microsofts web site.

Thanks, downloaded MDAC 2.6 and access extensions and bingo it started working just fine.
