The link in the registration confirmation email does not work. When you click the link in the message, you get this error screen...

There Was A Problem With Your Details

    * You must choose a UserName
    * Your UserName must be at least 3 characters long
    * You must choose a Password
    * You Must give an e-mail address
    * You Must enter a valid e-mail address

I've checked the key in the link against the key in the pending member. They match. Clicking the link does not complete the registration.

I can see no logical explanation. Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys :)

For reference...

If you're working on a Snitz setup locally (your home machine) and then publishing to a remote site (your internet web site), make sure you get your config URLs correct. I got Snitz working on my local machine then pub'd the pages and database tables to my web site and SQL server. The web site acquired the forums URLs from my local setup. So the registration email had a link back to my local machine. Which would have generated an error for anyone but me so it was hard to see.

I hope this helps someone else.

URL's should always be correct, they need to for the email validation to work.

Have you checked the value for your forum URL in Admin Options-> Main Forum Config?
