Running Current version snitz 3.4.05 I want to restrict users from posting until they are authenticated by administrator. But any one who registers is able to post.

Second, if you have "E-mail Mode" set to on in the e-mail server configuration and assuming everything else that you posted, you should have to approve all pending members. If you don't have E-mail Mode set to "On" then it ignores the rest of the options. This is assuming that you have your e-mail server set up properly.
