Is it possible to hide a topic for a time being? I know I can lock it, but is it possible to 'put it to one side'? |

Sure, create a forum that is "Members Only - Hidden" and move the topic there, then move it back into public view when you want others to see it. |

Do you mean create a whole new forum, or can I create a Members Only section of existing forum? |

We rarely delete anything - but there's a lot of stuff that the general public can't see. |

Is it possible to create a Members Only section of the forum, so that only Moderators can view? |

That's my point ... you won't see it. I guess there are 'secret' forums here as well, it's just that if they are configured properly then you don't see them.
Spend 15 minutes playing around with the settings for a particular forum - using a guest (i.e. not logged in), a normal member, and an administrator and you'll quickly see hos it works. |

Had a quick play. I can't for the life of me work it out. Do I need a MOD or something?
The only thing I could find in Adminb section was 'Turn on Private Forum' which I did. |

Then you edit the properties for a certain forum, there you have the settings you are looking for.

There's no "luck" involved, you just have the config set to where you want them to be. |
