I'm seeing on here (this actual Snitz forum) where some members are labelled differently (i.e. "global moderator" or "development team member" , etc.) .. They aren't "ranked" by how many posts they've made, yet there are other plain members (like me) who are actually ranked by their total post count.
How do you accomplish this? I want to do something similar on one of my forums where I can give a specific "rank" yet the ranking function still works for everyone else who I don't specify a rank for.

While logged in as the Admin of your forum, goto your Members page.
Once there, click on the that is on the same row as the user you want to edit. You'll be prompted for the Admin Username/password and then you'll be at the Modify User Profile page.
On the right hand side of the page just underneath the username is a field named Title:
Just enter the Title you want to assign to that user and submit the changes.
The Title field overrides the ranking that is entered on the Member Ranking screen. |

Cool!! That works great!!! How about the stars? I notice you have 5 stars, and in the ranking config it only shows 1 per user. Also, I set my star ranking on, but the stars aren't showing up. (No error, just not showing.)

The number of stars is connected to the number of posts, even for Admin users or users with custom titles. The default number of posts for 1 star is 50, so as long as you haven't got 50 posts, you won't get a star. Richard has 5 stars because his postcount is > 2000
