Well, I think the feature would be great if it was built. Forget the dumb end-users that wouldn't know a back button from a screen refresh, I bet such functionality would be applauded on my forums.

Yes you need the Who Read Mod, and take it from me, people like that MOD too. I gave everyone the right to check who has read a topic.

How is the peformance (size of the database) for Read-Unread-Marked Topics MOD? Is everyone's experience with Access or mysql?

Performance is good. After two months (configurable) the table is automatically cleaned up. We use Access.
