Hi all

I've had a post on my forum this morning I could do with some advice on please http://www.cyclingplus.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=95990

Sure enough if I search for 'optilabs' it says there is a 3 page topic but only shows the first page. If I go to the first page there are no drop downs to go to the 2nd and 3rd pages - the only way to access these pages is from the search results screen. The 2nd and 3rd pages just have header/footers and no replies. I assume the replies have been deleted by the delete archive process but I'm not sure why. I thought that deleting only occurred when the entire topic including replies were older than the time specified for deletion (which in my case is over 2 months old)

Could anyone shed any light?
Many thanks!
Clare

Update forum counts from the proper option at the Admin Options panel. Probably there are not 31 replies, since the last post info is ok and corresponds to the 4th reply.

Thanks for your response. I just tried that but it didn't work unfortunately, there are still 3 pages of topics listed. Do you have any other ideas?

By the way, should I be running update forum counts as a matter of course each time I delete archives? (I'm never sure what update forum counts actually does!)

Thanks!
Clare

I would also strongly advise updating to the latest codebase before you do anything

Hi Huw

Thanks - do you mean the latest version? If so, please forgive my ignorance and faint heartedness but won't it be a nightmare to reinstall all my mods again (infact isn't it likely some mods won't exist for newer versions?) I always assumed my version 3.4.03 would be OK til 3.5.xx if I keep up to date with security issues?

Thanks
Clare
