Hi, my site's forum is version 3.4.0.3
My question is this.
When I post here, the 3.4.0.5 version and in the message textfield I type this in, and select the text with my mouse, then click, for example, the Bold button the tags for bold wrap nicely around the selected text, with the opening tag [.b] in front of the text and the closing tag [./b] nicely at the end of the text.
At my 3.4.0.3. forum when I select entered text, then click the B button the tags are entered at the end of the message.
My question is this. Did I remove the function by accident in inc_func_common/post.asp when adding a mod, or was this piece of code simply not yet available in 3.4.0.3 ?
Please let me know and if it should work in 3.4.0.3. then please let me know which function where is controlling it.

Having arrived about the time that 3.4.05 was released (well, a couple of months before), I can't say. I know at one point there was a problem with FireFox... are you using that by chance?
inc_code.js has the JavaScript that is used. (Or at least that is the way it is in 3.4.05... I doubt there was a difference.) |

I do use Mozilla.
However the feature works in this forum.
I also noted that when I tried on Marcel's Oxle (don't worry, didn't post nothing with the Demo account, just tried :) ) that it had the same situation.
So I dunno if it's Mozilla related since the function works here.
But thanks for the tip on inc_code.js I am going to compare that one with my existing one.
