if you set it back to it's original value does it work correctly ?
my gues is your file is too big, http uploads have a fairly small size limit due to the constraints of IIS and asp, your problem is that the page is timing ot before the upload finishes correctly.
Also if you are on a Windows 2003, the default for the file upload to the server is about 200Kb and there is a Metabase edit and a restart of IIS needed to fix it from your host. Here is the article from Microsoft about file size on IIS 6 (Windows 2003).
