Hi,

This mod isn't working for me - I hacked the DB so that it used varchar instead of text/nvarchar fields, whittled my keyword and description lists back to under 255 chars to fit them into the fields, and changed the folder permissions so that the folder permitted writing, execution of scripts and executables, and gave all users full control, even. The paths I tried using are
C:\Websites\ThePersonalColumn\www.thepersonalcolumn.com\forums\meta C:\Websites\ThePersonalColumn\www.thepersonalcolumn.com\forums\meta
C:/Websites/ThePersonalColumn/www.thepersonalcolumn.com/forums/meta/
C:/Websites/ThePersonalColumn/www.thepersonalcolumn.com/forums/meta

You can probably guess which folder I'm trying to use from that...

Your help is greatly appreciated. I'd really love to get some meta tags in the forum I've set up.

I do them manually. Put your meta tags in a file called meta.asp in your forum folder. Then put this...

right after both instances of this...

in inc_header.asp. Works for me. I don't have to mess with the forum code if I want to change them, just that one file.
