hi the more i work with this the better it goes, but this one i can't.
every time i try to attach files i get this message
Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0126'
Include file not found
/sr4/Mods/setup.asp, line 1390
The include file 'inc_create_forum_mysql.asp' was not found.
i really followed the instructions but, waht am i doieng wrong. I can see that it will use my_sql - but i'm using access is that the problem ? Please help me so i can get my forum on the internet please

this means there is something wrong with the permissions on your mods directory, it must be set to allow script access

ok i have been giving it all right's and i still don't work. But perhaps this can help, when i tried toi run mod__dbsetup.asp and choose file-att.... this is what i get

yes, soory just save the file that loads as mod_dbsetup.asp, overwriting the one you have

HI again.
That help a little bit, but when i press the clipsicon to attach file nothing happens but a new windue comes up, and stays there. Is there somewhere i can download the full package of file attachement to the new forum.
I think i have a mix og the old and the new one

ok, if the attach button apperas, then the mod is installed, the window that pops up should allow you to select a file.
What browser are you using ?
Do you have a url I can look at ?

hi I'M USING IE 5.01 - Sorry i dont have a url yet. is it perhaps better do try again, like copied all the files again ? Is there somewhere i can find the files to the new version ?

the latest files are the ones in the MOD : completed forum.
the files were updated on the 04/03, you will also need to install the required_files.zip

hi again. I think i have the problem increased. when the windows pops up after pressing the attach button the following is written in the top "http://itivan/sr4web/mods/setup.asp?rc=1&cc=1&strdbtype=access&ec=-2147467259 - Microsoft internetexplorer. when i was tryineg to install antoher mods i was getting the same problem when the mods tryied to get access to setup.asp. the mods was bookmark and that feature dosen't work either. is it possibel for me to find a forum where this file atta.... works and then copied the files belonging to file atta... direct into my forum. I'm really sorry to still taking your time, but i dont know what else to do

the only problem is that it doesn't like the pemissions on your mods directory
make sure it has read and execute permissions set.

I think i've done that right, i've checked
Just under Local path....
i have checked all off them and selected
Scripts og excecutable files. What else can i do. I have the forum translated to Danish ALL of it, so i'm really down on my knees to get this working

By the way - if i use the menubar to upload files there are no problems. Is that related to attach files problem

hi
If i give you a url, paaword, login name would you the help me to set a forum up just like the one you have at huw's snitz test site. I think i messit up so badly that i must start all over to translate it to danish. I will of couse give you a complete copy in Danish so you can give to other you want's a danish version. I would like to have
1. files atta.....
2. Advanced statistik
3. Bookmarks
4. Calendar
And ofcource all other standard mods whitch are in it.
Then i will start translating instead of being a snitz master.
