That's pretty vague. Have you managed to assign an avatar to yourself? It shows properly in your profile?
This isn't an easy mod, and I hope you've triple checked each change you made to topic.asp.? Maybe just do the whole file over again. |

If it works fine, there is no problem
Seriously, the Avatar mod changes a lot of topic.asp some changes look the same, but they really are entirely or subtlely different. Patience, and a keen eye and you'll get there ... OR show us your site and a text version of your topic.asp |

You are setting Reply_MemberAvatar correctly, but then it is never used in the code. You've just missed some steps in the setup

Need a bit of a kick start. I made the changes for the avatar mod and the Avatar/Home/Settings/Setup etc. all look fine. My User profile displays the avatar correctly. The the issue is an error when I try to open a topic in the forum I get:
ADODB.Recordset error '800a0cc1' Item cannot be found in the collection corresponding to the requested name or ordinal. /Snitz/topic.asp, line 122
topic.asp, line 122 reads:
Member_Avatar = rsTopic("M_AVATAR_URL")
If I go back and comment out line 122 everything starts working again, obviously there are no avatars displayed.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Coz |
