Hello!
I have a trouble with my Access DB. When I send a new topic or a post reply, in the Preview page the signature is showed, but in the topic.asp page not. I set the config.asp for the original snitz_forums_2000.mdb file and the signatures appear in the topic.asp. When I set config.asp for my Access DB, signatures not appear in the topic.asp.
Thanks for any help! Leopoldo De Mario. |

If you can, post a link to a txt file of your "topic, asp" so we can have a look. |

Sorry! cripto9t
I have discovered wich the bug is in the Access DB and not in the forum files. So, I try to change the topic for Help: MS Access Database Forum. I not despise your attention or your help, only try to change the topic for the correct forum. |

Leo, please just explain the problem you are having so someone can help you, and not worry about where your topic is. If it needs to be moved, the moderators will move it.
You have spent so much time telling the moderators where your topic should be, instead of explaining to us what problem you are having. Concentrate on explaining the problem to us. |

Did you check in your Feature Configuration in Admin Options if you have signatures turned on? |

Yes I do. I try overwrite all the files in the forum by the original Snitz forum files and not solve the problem. The problem is really with my Access DB, why if I set the database file in the config.asp for the original snitz_forums_2000.mdb all works fine.
Thank You for the help! |

Hi! Davio. My forum at this moment is installed in my home website and haven't a persistent connection.
I make a backup of the forum with the problematic Access file and install a new copy of snitz forum, install the Smille Manager Plus and make the admin configuration. Then I place the new forum's database in my forum directory and all works fine.
For now many thanks! & Sorry by the nuisance with the unnecessaries posts...
ps: My trouble is wich I make the translation for the Portuguese Brazilian language then I can't make simple overwriting of files. |
