Background: I've been running snitz for 5 years. About a month ago I upgraded my database from Access to MS SQL 2005 (I'm running IIS 6 on the same box.) Everything was fine until late last night.

I received some emails from some posters telling me that that they could only see the last two replies to every topic. I logged and noticed the same behavior. I logged into Snitz as admin, ran Update Forum Counts and then rebooted the server. When the server came back up things were worse. Snitz seems functional but it appears that most (all) of the replies have been added to ONE TOPIC!

Needless to say this less than optimal My last backup is several weeks old. I would rather not lose data but more importantly I'd like to figure what happened so I can prevent a reoccurrence.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Well that happens because the advice on upgrading an Access DB was not followed.

What happened to you was described here: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=16257

How to fix it? May be kinda hard...

I thought I did follow the advice but obviously there's evidence to the contrary.

Lesson learned- my bad. Thanks!
