Hello Everyone,
I am new to Snitz and we are excited to incorporate it into our new club website.
I am in the process of creating our new website in FrontPage (no jabs please) and have a few questions that can help steer how I incorporate Snitz into one site.
First, we would like to have at least twelve separate discussion boards under one site. Is this possible?
Second, we would like to be able to do keyword searches that would be able to search all twelve of these sites for information. If we can get all of the discussion boards on one site, would we be able to do this? In FrontPage, if we use their discussion board template, we would need to have each discussion board be a separate sub-site, which would prevent us from doing global keyword searches on all discussion boards.
Any thoughts would be greatly helpful to this newbie.
Best,
Nathan |

Thanks for your response, Rui.
It would be much easier to have one discussion board with twelve sections (or tables) but we would like to have twelve separate discussion boards so that it would feel much more 'personal' for each group using the board as well as allowing us more control over who uses each board.
Thanks for your suggestion. I will go through the entry page again and in more detail. We would like to have all of these discussion boards on one site and see if we can create a keyword search that will search all of the content on the website as well as the twelve individual discussion groups.
I just wanted to know the ramifications to help decide which way we should steer our site structure.
Thank,
Nathan

Right now there are no features that allow multi-board search capabilities. Category groups could be used to give you an environmente where you could, at least in part, hide non-accessible categories. Probably the sistematic use of the User Groups mod and categories could allow you to create a kind of "groupalized" forum for each group.

Thanks for the feedback.
We will proceed with one page broken up into twelve sections for now and then look into 'limited view' of that one page as an option to pursue in the future.
We sure are excited to have found SNITZ!
Best,
