Hi, please forgive the non-tech approach - I'm new to this. I have just set up a reverse service auction site with a bolted on Snitz Forum (www.click2bid.co.uk).

We use Access database with ASP + session variables, without any NT_authentication. The forum currently requires seperate registration and login from the main site. How can my developer make the two compatible, so the main site login works also for the forum? It would make the site more userfriendly and less faffy, so any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Seems to be a popular question these days. Keep an eye on this thread: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=60853

I know this has been discussed to a great extent in the past, I just haven't had a chance to look for some good recent examples. If you didn't find much with a regular search, try checking the box next to "Archived Posts" as that will search the archives.

HTH.

strange, I just posted this http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=60853 and perhaps it gives you a hint of how to do it.

Wow, you guys are on the ball! Expected to have to monitor this thread for a few days...

Fingers crossed this'll sort the problem. Many thanks indeed.
