When building my site, my web designer added the module for extra smileys, at my request. When I was assigning them names, descriptions, and the code, I neglected to put the square brackets around one that is actually a word, causeing the "help" emoticon to appear every time some one writes "help" or "helpful" or "helpless", etc. It looks stupid, plus I have had two people complain to me about it. Everything I attempted to do to change the code failed to become premanent.
Does anyone know what I need to do to fix my error? Thanks.

I tried it again, and for the first time used the "Update Smile List" button at the bottom, instead of the "Update" button at the top. And it worked! What is the button at the top supposed to do?
I'll need to invest some time in studying your support board so that I learn where to put things.

The one at the top is for changing member's abilities to have a custom smiley list, I believe...
Glad you got it fixed. |

Thanks guys.
The other pleasingly good news item is that I noticed a couple spell checkers, and my web designer plugged one in for me tonight.
I really like this forum software. I had an awful system with my old web guy, so I'm thrilled with both my new designer, and the Snitz Forum software, and it's add-ons. This is more of what I was expecting initially, several years ago. I'm glad it wasn't just my hyper-active imagination.
