Hi,

I've created a couple of private forums on my Version 3.4.03 forum.

All is fine in normal mode but when a user checks the "Active Topics" the private forums are accessable.

The forums are both marked as "Allowed users [Hidden]"

Is there something I've forgotten to do?

Auth Type should be Allowed Members List (Hidden). Also, you should upgrade to the latest version, though not because of your problem.

I mis-typed the "Auth Type" it is set to
"Allowed Members List (Hidden)".

Why upgrade if not to solve my problem then ?

Upgrading for the sake of upgrading is pointless, upgrading to solve a problem is good.

Any idea about the private forums issue?

Upgrade for security reasons, there have been security fixes in the Snitz versions that followed 3.4.03.

Have a link to your forum? What are the forums set as private, so that I can have a look? If a login is required, please post it here.

I'll upgrade in the next couple of days. Will sort out a temp account for you to have a look with and post the details here.
Do you need Admin ? or is ordinary user ok?

EDIT you can use these credentials if you don't need ADMIN rights

user : jabtest
