I recently installed the newest Snitz version and found every search timing out. I'm on MSSQL Server. Then I realized that I once had an optimized search page that took care of this problem. Did the new Snitz version incorporate this or do I need to reinstall it?

Its not present in the base version of Snitz. Ruirib wrote the mod as far as I can remember. You can probably get it at SnitzBitz.
