Ok Got it all installed, edited forum to take a poll, so far so good. Posted a new poll. Went to view poll and got this error.

I have checked the file and this is what is there. looks the same as the one I was updating from.
'First of all get max value and nLowValue

next
if nMaxValue = 0 then

Davio. Just for you info I have installed Pm mod and additional smilies although I can't see the smilies affecting anything |

You're missing an "end if" after line 1317 in your topic.asp file.
Here is a graphical look at the missing code (had a little extra time on my hands )

Ok got a bit further but now have this when trying to place a vote.

I have downloaded my trial of beyond compare to try and have a look at this myself but line 135 seems to be a line from the pm mod. Member_PM = rsTopic("M_PMRECEIVE")

I had copied over the original which had part of my pm mod?  Made the change and it seems to be working

Edit. Just updated Master forum with all modded files and set it up no errors. Did a backup first just in case This modding is getting addictive but I'm waiting a week or so then I'm thinking avatar mod.

Done a search and looked at it myself but there seems to be so much going on in that file. Just when some of this was beginning to make sense.
I'm still looking though!
EDIT- Re-edited the file from a back-up using BC. It was so easy and works a charm. Beats doing it manually. Had error deleting poll but found I missed a response write |

Ok, so after all the EDIT's are you running ok now or are you still having a problem? Not totally sure if you got your problems fixed or not.
Yeah, Beyond Compare is a life saver when making edits to your file. That's why I bought it.  |

Davio. I hope you catch this, save me starting a new thread(Topic). The poll mod is great but the admins(see who's voted) seems to have stopped working.
Maybe it's due to the last mod that listed thousands of logged on users all with the same username that all linked back to my profile. I've been getting nasty dreams about that.
The link is there, no errors reported but no popup? All other pop ups function as normal. |

| The link is activates a javascript function that should be in your inc_header.asp file. Check your inc_header.asp file to make sure you have all the poll mod code in there. |

That's it. Restored a backup after that other mod... Backups coming out my ears.. Cheers David.
EDIT. Yep somehow uploaded a backup of inc_header.asp without the poll mod code. Easy when you know where to look
All sorted & fresh back-up made. I'm gonna leave it alone for a while.
