Ok I have installed the PM mod V3.5.05 and had 2 errors of my own doing but managed to track em down and sort them out. My question is about the PM link as it is split in two. Private on the top right and Messages on the bottom left (new line). I presume it's somewhere in header.asp but not sure how I could rearrange the links to my linking?
EDIT. I have noticed that If I reduced my logo size the links move. I don't wanna shrink my logo though? |

Ok I have noticed a small problem. If I check existing replies to topics they have errors on them and the reply is just a number. EDIT link removed, out of date.
Would this have anything to with the line I had to add which had a 6 on the end? I'm sure I've seen another post where the following lines with numbers had to be edited +1 all the way through. Sorry can't be more precise as I'm at work on a pocket pc lol.

I do believe that could be the problem if you haven't done that. That was my mistake while installing the PM mod. Make sure that no two numbers are the same, as it will give you an error message.

cheers. just got in from work so i'll give it a bash in the morning. I was gonna increase them all by 1 but decided against it. Hmmm dunno why?  |

Good to hear. What do you mean "Time out"?
As for how to drop them down to the next row, I don't know how to do that for sure, and don't want to goof up your forum trying to figure it out.

ok I had it all running on a backup database, different name to main DB, same location. I had test forum in folder forum2. Original forum in folder forum. Renamed forum to old forum, renamed forum2(modded) to forum. Edited config.asp to sort out DB connection string and voila...
error, error, error, error. Restored from backup. works from forum2 though? now i'm confused.
Hmmm forgot silly me DB changed lol. hmmm It's late I'll try tomorrow |

well it's 4:33am and I've just installed the active users lite which was a quicky. only time will tell, lol
Now I'm ready for the pager mod but I think sleep would be a good idea for now.

Thanks. Got PM sorted last night, this morning removed the active users lite. Looking for somthing with a bit more. I'm not doing the pager mod now but I am tweaking with the polls. |
