Hi

Is there any way that I can set the forum so all members can set up a topic but only Moderators and Administrators can reply?

Thanks

Peter

I believe if you enable moderation, then set the forums to "moderate replies only" that would achieve what you want.

Users would be able to reply, but posts would be held for you to do with as you please before they are posted.

Bobby is correct. When you go through Admin Options, log in under "Feature Configurations" and there is an option "Enable moderation". From there, you can edit categories to allow forum moderation, then edit FORUMS to change moderation. In that section, you can select "Moderate Replies only". This is the easiest way that I have seen to go about it.

Peter....believe it or not, we are all still learning. Look through my posts and I made some things that I thought were horribly stupid too. If it weren't for members that helped me get MY feet on the ground, I'd be in similar situations.

Once you start figuring things out, just come back and try to help out other members when you can. Thats how the forums stay alive and popular!!! Don't sweat it.....I made a couple really "dumb" mistakes as well.
