I think I know the answer to this, but I thought I should check.
I've had Polls on my site for ages (years). They work great, and most of the time they are perfect, but recently some smarty has learnt (or the spiders are getting better) has got in and voted MULTIPLE times on a poll to skew the results. It seems they enjoy inflating a few items out of the poll just for fun.
Now I know the poll runs on cookies to stop multiple voting, but you just remove the cookie and post again
Is there any way around this ? Or ... is there a way to make the polls "Only members can vote" ?
The latest version of the poll mod has been out a long time now. It has the "Only members can vote" option. See if you can incorporate the changes into your existing forum files. If you need help, let me know.
