I'm quite confused. The problem is fixed, but I'm curious as to the reasons on it, and have not found anything like it. I've done no modifications to the forum in over a week, and the forum (v3.4.05) has run fine.

Today I came on and the tables were gone and it made the appearances of being virtually uninstalled. Out of a hunch, I tried running setup.asp, and it worked to restore the forum fine.

However, what caused this? Is this a problem I need to be worried about doing on a regular basis?? A server problem that I need to handle with the provider?

As I said, the problem is fixed, but I'm just woried about how frequently I will need to do this.

Running setup.asp is all that's needed. The application variables values used by Snitz were lost, probably because of a server restart or similar.

Ahhh....thank you very much for the help. It all came back, and all the posts were there, I just had no idea why it happened. *laughs* I guess I was a bit paranoid after the many difficulties with installing mods and my own ability to "break" things...lol. Thanks again.
