When someone tries to register they get an error message: Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'

Invalid ProgID. For additional information specific to this message please visit the Microsoft Online Support site located at: http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp. It turns out the person is actually registered even with the error message. How do I correct this error message?
Your email settings are incorrect. Check them and make sure they are set up properly. There is a mod out there somewhere which will tell you your email settings...
